Pretty nice park and well-located for seeing Bodie and Mono Lake. But I have had trouble with an over-voltage condition, causing my high voltage protection device to continually trip out. The owner was cooperative by checking readings in all pedestals, but didn't understand why one leg of the supply read 135 v. which is too high. Consequently, we were unable to run most all of our electrical gear except for the TVs and refrigerator. Because we were not comfortable leaving our rig to tour the area, I rate this park lower than it should be rated. I would not stay here again due to this problem.

I don't understand the 3 previous comments on this park. There is NO crowing as sites are 30 ft. wide! How wide is wide enough? My 45 ft. MH fits just fine. Access is very adequate with wide graveled roads and a standard layout. A few trees with branches, but I know not to pull in and scrape them or to go to another site, so this is not a problem. I had no issues with the utilities either. The staff is friendly with a small store on site. There is no safety issue here and any permanents must be on the other side-away from the over nighters. Remember, this is New Mexico and you're not going to have a campground in a grassy oasis, so get real!

Do NOT trust your GPS to take you into this CG....the park roads are not as indicated on the GPS (Navteq maps), so I ended up doing two U-turns on the main road (Try that with a 45 ft. MH and toad). I finally called the CG and was told I had to travel all the way around the loop past the visitor center to the market are where there is signage leading into the CG. I found Verizon coverage here is great....phone works everywhere we've been and my aircard is providing very good internet response. The sites are rather un-kept but good widths and distance from your neighbor. Room for the toad alongside, despite what I was told when making reservations. The location is great, but the reservation process tiresome. Overall, I'd stay here again because of the location.

Locate in the industrial section of town, so views are not as pristine as other locations, but still nice. Located on a regionally-sloping ground, but sites are graded to be level. Good widths and lengths for any size rig. Road noise IS NOT a problem-we are in the front row and can't hear anything. The managers are very nice and helpful. Would stay here again.

Compared to others in the Grand Circle area, this one is above average, with exception of a veeeery slow Wi-Fi. Almost unusable and we are close to the office. I was told Verizon cell coverage was available, but not so. Wonderland down the road does have good cell coverage, however. Sites do slope a bit, but no biggie. I sure hope the guy next to me doesn't decide to have a camp fire....the pit is too close to me! Office staff was very friendly and their store carried a large number of items. They have park cookouts on weeknights. Torrey is a very small town with no real grocery store and restaurants are few and way overpriced, so bring your own groceries and cook in the RV. But the drive up #12 to here is an awesome experience and well worth the trip.

Park is for seniors, so no kids running around. A lot of people from PHX spend summers here and we met some very nice folks. Great walking trails on National lands at the rear of park. The park ranges from 6960 to 7000 ft. in elevation, but the sites were level-all gravel. Verizon service is great here. Lots of nice restaurants in nearby Flagstaff and remnants of the old Hwy. 66 era. Would stay here again.

Decent little CG in a very nice town. Good power. Good Verizon cell coverage here and air card worked very well. Wide spaces with trees in between, which didn't interfere with satellite reception. Great for visiting Bryce and Capital Reef and other scenic drives around Panguitch. An older technology car wash on site to hose down the dirt, but does not work that well. No other services, but we were here to see the parks. Would stay here again.

Nice, new and very clean park. All wide concrete roads and beautiful grass everywhere else. No trees. Immaculately maintained! Concrete pads 10 ft. wide by about 65 ft. long and room for two cars; sites are 20 ft. wide which was no problem for our 45 footer with 4 slides. Appears to be a lot of full-timers here with quite new 5ers. No "junque" RV's noted. Quiet and good access to I-45 and Galveston and Houston. Located behind a self-serve carwash (a very good one, too), with a self storage facility next to it, it is a little hard to find coming off FM517. Would stay here again.

Nice park with limited trees for shade. Great pool. Very nice office staff, but was mis-quoted on rate due to bringing along 2 grand daughters. Surprised when I checked in. Sites are 20 ft. wide with 10 ft. concrete pads with room for a 45 ft. MH and a car. Very close to Sea World; they have a shuttle to save on parking. Would stay here again.

This is an older park, but the sites were quite good. They are 20 ft. wide and plenty long for a 45 ft. MH. There are concrete pads and picnic table, and a few trees. There is a very nice office staff. There is good access to sites around Corpus without the direct salty breezes which can cause rusting of parts on your rig. It might be a little high priced for the age/facilities? We would stay here again.

This is a large field with a few hookups, suitable for an overnight stay. We checked in at the nearby BP Station and the clerk asked for cash only. Lots of room to run around, if you need to. All grass sites, since there probably isn't that much traffic to damage the turf. But this is a great stopover place, a very short distance off I-10 with easy on/off. A new Super Walmart is about 14 miles away. I'd stay here again.

Very nice, large and secure park. Good site size, but we were placed into a 40 ft. site too small for our 45 ft. motorhome. The mgr. argued with us, saying ALL sites were 50 ft. length. We took a trip to the Bahamas, leaving the MH in this park. When we were weather delayed coming back one day past our paid length of stay, the mgr. threatened to have our MH towed. He only reconsidered after my gracious neighbor paid for another day. Overall, the park is great, but myself and other campers found the administration to be extremely unfair and unfriendly, dampening our memories of staying here. Not sure if I'll return unless I can just ignore these people.

Not sure if some of the other posters were at the same park as I was. No 5ers are allowed here, for instance. I can't find any towers, etc. I found lots of trees and shade, but none were blocking my satellite dish. This is the most high scale park I've ever seen. The people and staff are soooo friendly, the activities abound, park is new and clean with lots of very high-end rigs around. Fun to watch 'em come and go. Most sites are very lavishly landscaped and a lot of them equipped with outdoor kitchens. Absolutely would stay here again.

New, one year old and built after Katrina. Spacious, level sites..adding another 60 sites to accommodate growth. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and can't do enough for you. About 5 miles from the French Quarter with easy access. Located along the west side of the Industrial Canal in an area of heavy industry, which poses no negative concerns. Very quiet. I would select it over the RV park downtown due to a safe and more secure feeling. No street people around here.....

Pretty clean park. New owner with less of a regimented set of policies. Very tough on dog lovers....need to take extra care of them and walk 'em in designated place. This park is located behind a large hotel, with train tracks about 2-3 blocks away and at the end of the small town airport. We were reminded of this by a plane that came right over the park at 7AM every morning and into the later evening hours, not to mention the numerous numbers of trains daily. But we had a good experience here and it is about the best this stretch of road has to offer. Would stay here again. Good Sams and Escapees' discounts.

Great overnight park, since there isn't much shakin' in Tucomcari since the new highway bypassed the town. Used a Passport rate and this is a great deal! Very wide sites, just drive in and leave the toad hooked up...easy out in the AM. A low-budget place but the owner is very nice and helpful. The restaurant next door appears to be the best in town and has great New Mexican food as well as a typical family food menu. Would definitely stay here again.

A no-frills park with very large pull-through sites. Great for an overnight stay. Staff very friendly. This is a great, prosperous city to visit. They have the whole city park lit up for xmas and the city operates Route 66, history of transportation, early years and farming museums. All very new and interesting at only $4 fee to enter. A great and worthwhile stopover place to witness some history.

A decent park, just on edge of town with quick access downtown. Easy access and only a half mile off I-40, but no noise at our site. Large sites with very little going on in the park. Great for a shorter-term stay. Wi-Fi works great! Would stay here again.

This place is beautiful! Takes on the setting of a local ranch, with lots of old farm/ranch implements lying around the grounds. Sites are extremely wide, with privacy screens and elevation changes between sites. Gravelled and very long to accommodate the longest road train imaginable. We were there on Halloween night and no one from the cemetery next door even bothered us.....Definitely a place to stay at again.

The owners will knock themselves out for you. Are very involved in maintaining a clean and functional park are are VERY friendly. A couple miles off the main hwy., but this is a great park to stay in. Will be back.

We noticed a sign on the door saying something like "If you're rude, go away". After the owner quoted his $29 price I mentioned a half price camping club deal and he said those sites were no longer available. Even his website quotes a $19.95 price. I laughed, saying "That's what they all say", referring to how CG's can renig on their posted prices after you've driven all the way to their park. He handed me the registration slip, saying "You cant stay here" and he walked out to finish something he was working on in back. Did I catch him on a bad hair day? I think I'd recommend you try one of the other numerous parks nearby.....why let him insult you this way?

Sites are nicely designed with sagebrush separating you from your neighbors. Picnic table and concrete pad at each site. Very nice CG operators. Close proximity to the center of town and the Indian Pueblo at the north side. Will definitely stay here again....nothing any better in Taos or the surrounding area IMHO.

Beautiful scenery...well worth the detour off I-40 to stay in this place....allow a couple of nights and a full day to see it. Will return every chance I get. Got some beautiful photos of the canyon walls, showing the vast geologic features. Got a a slow internet connection using Verizon card, but no cell service except for a local network. Direct TV can be spotty, but we had a good picture where we parked. Ask before selecting a campsite.

The owners will knock their socks off for you. New, clean and neat, no trees, big spaces and good hookups. Close to the freeway for access north and south. A good Mexican joint nearby. Will definitely stay here again.
